Student Activities

Laurels and Accolades

Our students consistently shine in inter-school competitions, earning awards in sports, debates, cultural events, and academic contests. We honor their persistence, enthusiasm, and achievements through recognition ceremonies and features in our newsletters.

Celebrations

  • 15th August – Indian Independence Day with patriotic songs and flag hoisting.
  • 23rd January – Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s Birth Anniversary.
  • Saraswati Puja – Spiritual rituals with cultural performances.
  • Children’s Day – Fun activities, performances, and games for students.
  • Teacher’s Day (Sept 5) – Cultural programs and gifts by students to show gratitude.
  • Annual Day – Grand performances in dance, drama, and music by students.
  • Sports Day – Athletic competitions encouraging sportsmanship.
  • Science & Art Exhibitions – Creative display of student projects and innovations.

Ashram Utsav & Annual Function

Held to celebrate Guru Maharaj’s birth anniversary with spiritual, cultural, and academic programs. Students participate in dance, songs, and traditional performances, enriching their values and expression.

Assembly, SUPW & Daily Routines

Morning assemblies include Sanskrit chants, Geeta recitation, news, and moral messages. SUPW (Socially Useful Productive Work) classes include clay modeling, paper crafts, painting, and environmental projects.

Aranya Saptaha

A week dedicated to celebrating nature. Students plant saplings, perform nature songs, prepare posters, and take pledges to protect the environment, promoting ecological awareness.

Art & Craft Competitions

Regular events include poster making, drawing contests, clay modeling, rakhi making, diya painting, and card designing. These nurture creativity and fine motor skills among all age groups.

Quiz & Debate

General knowledge quizzes, elocution, storytelling, and debates are frequently conducted to enhance awareness, critical thinking, and public speaking confidence in students.

Collage Competitions

Students create thematic collages on environment, science, freedom fighters, and cultural heritage. These activities promote teamwork, planning, and presentation skills.

Inauguration of New Building

On 15th August 2024, Swami Biswatmananda Maharaj inaugurated our new school building. The event was graced by Swamijis, teachers, staff, and students, followed by cultural performances.

Prayer & Tiny Tots

Nursery to Class II students begin their day with devotional prayers, patriotic songs, and light exercises, instilling discipline, confidence, and spiritual grounding from an early age.

School Excursion & Picnic

Annual excursions for senior students and school-wide picnics for all classes are organized with games, music, and food. These foster joy, bonding, and experiential learning.

Inter-School Participation

Our students regularly participate in academic, sports, and cultural contests in Durgapur and beyond. Their achievements are often recognized by dignitaries and Swamijis with awards and certificates.
